My son, Lucas, was super into the campfires this time. He gathered the wood and kindling, helped set the fire up and poked at it with his stick to keep it going (and for fun). Each night, he also planned a "grand finale" to make it really big right before his bedtime. This was during one such finale. The campfires were one of the best parts, because it's relaxing to stare at dancing fire, sit around and chat and eat s'mores. And some nights were just plain cold so it was nice to cuddle close and warm up. Luckily we had no fire mishaps even with all of the flying sparks.
Oh this is such a great capture! The light from the fire on all those smiling happy faces!! Great flame shot too. This IS the best part of camping. What a great time!!
We missed the bonfire while on our vacation, my daughter wanted to go she is young at heart but tiredness overtook as we took in too much sun earlier on the beach. This capture looks so inviting and the flames rising are very hypnotic. Great capture and seems you had a wonderful time.
