Ever have one of those days?! It came to my attention (yet again) that I need to cut back on the crazy and be more productive in life and less so online. I need to start making some money and applying for jobs again. I also need to get going on preparing for our impending move (cleaning the place, packing, and all those other not so fun things that get put on the back burner.).
I love seeing the animals personality at the zoo. Particularly the screaming primates. I feel like one a bunch.
This is such a funny shot! Sorry you are having a rough day. Change is hard. I wish you well! And just think...now you will have new neighbors to peek out the window to witness all your shenanigans.
Great shot --proves that photography is so much more fun than looking for jobs and getting ready to move. Which would you rather be in the old fable -- the grasshopper or the ant? I've always favored the grasshopper.
LOL LOL!! Why do I hear an Brooklyn Italian accent?? ""Hayy!! Whatz a you lookin at!! Bafangul!!" Aww Amanda I hope everything all comes together easily and you still find play time here on 365!
Fantabulous shot!!!! We all have felt like this from time to time. So cool that you captured this show of emotion! Hope all is going well with your plans...seems to be happening so quickly?
Thanks so much for your kind comments and support, my friends. We need to move quickly to avoid living in a home that is on the market. I can't imagine trying to maintain a house that is immaculate and ready for showing with 3 kids and a dog. We did find one and are moving forward in the process. Just need to get the inspection done and if all looks good then we will sign the contract next week. Hope to move on November 1. Soooo much to accomplish before that. It will be/I will be crazy. Like this monkey!:) Love the Brooklyn accent idea, here, Dawn:). So fun!
@wendyhgill My husband held an intervention for me the other night. Seriously! It was just he and I, but I had to get outside help involved. Good for you for taking a break on your own. I've had to back off myself. Thanks, friend. We are forced to...our landlord is selling the house...but we found a place close by that we love. We wouldn't have looked or found it had we not been forced. And we plan to rent to own and buy in a year. Hope that it works out. Still need the inspection to be sure. Fun, crazy times:). And probably a good time for me to back off to pack and such.
@skipt07 Is that Cincy? I think so, yes? Yes. We are moving less than 2 miles away...the kids will stay at the same school even. This is should it all work out. We are still in process with inspections and contract. Coming together, though and we are hopeful. We love our area and have only been here for a year and a half. Glad to not move far at this point. In the past 9 years, we've moved cross country twice and I am over the big changes at least for awhile. Thanks for asking.
@amandal - That's good! There won't be as much of transitioning as there would be moving to a different town or state. Do you remember the old TV show, WKRP in Cincinnati! Dr. Johnny Fever, Les Nessman and Venus Flytrap?
@skipt07 Vaguely. I was a kid. It was reruns I saw I think. I couldn't remember if that was a Cincy show or a Cleveland show. I wonder when it aired? We are grateful. I so don't want to uproot the kids from school again (if we can help it). We will be slightly closer to my parents. And currently we live in a more retirement type community and we will be moving into more of a family neighborhood which will be nice for friendships for the kiddos.
@amandal - That is nice that you'll be living in an area where the kids will have other kids to make friends with! Now you made me feel very old. It aired from 1978 - 1982. It was a corny sitcom. I think the big draw was Loni Anderson!
@skipt07 Ah, Loni. Is she still married to Burt Reynolds? He went to my alma matter and I got to see him at a football game once. I was born in 76. It was still airing when I was growing up:).
@amandal - No she and Burt were married only 5 years and were divorced in 1993. So you are from Michigan. Burt was 40 when you were born. My son-in-law was from Michigan and two of my former pastors are graduates of MSU. It's a small world!
@amandal - He and his family moved to Florida after his father got out of the Army. He went to Palm Beach High School and upon graduation went to FSU on a football scholarship.
@roadshow Me, too!!! Thanks, Gloria!
Good one
