I am Monkey Hear Me Roar!

Ever have one of those days?! It came to my attention (yet again) that I need to cut back on the crazy and be more productive in life and less so online. I need to start making some money and applying for jobs again. I also need to get going on preparing for our impending move (cleaning the place, packing, and all those other not so fun things that get put on the back burner.).

I love seeing the animals personality at the zoo. Particularly the screaming primates. I feel like one a bunch.
Haha what a fantastic shot!

GREAT!!!!!
September 17th, 2013
LOL, what a great shot!
September 17th, 2013
That chimpanzee has pretty much summed up how I would feel about having to clean up and pack up while running a house with 3 little ones!!
September 17th, 2013
@rockinrobyn And get a job...ugh. Thanks, friend. I needed a purer shot after my scandalous one from last night! Oy!!
September 17th, 2013
You're too hard on yourself - it was funny!

@snaggy Part time. We need the money! It's tough to support a family of 5 on one income!
September 17th, 2013
Wonderful capture.love the composition.
September 18th, 2013
Good luck with the job hunt. Maybe something with photography???
September 18th, 2013
@mcmary I would LOVE that, Mary. Thank you!!
September 18th, 2013
Sorry to hear that you have to pull up roots and move to another area! I wish you well in your job hunt!
September 18th, 2013
OMG this is too funny, what a fantastic shot.
September 18th, 2013
Maybe its all just a big yawn? Bored with just watching and watching. Passing on a bit of strength and cheerfulness to you Amanda!
September 18th, 2013
This is such a funny shot! Sorry you are having a rough day. Change is hard. I wish you well! And just think...now you will have new neighbors to peek out the window to witness all your shenanigans.
September 18th, 2013
Great shot --proves that photography is so much more fun than looking for jobs and getting ready to move. Which would you rather be in the old fable -- the grasshopper or the ant? I've always favored the grasshopper.
September 18th, 2013
Great shot -- a good example of why photography is more fun than looking for a job or preparing to move!
September 18th, 2013
Haha, great capture. Good luck with finding a job and the up coming move.
September 18th, 2013
What a great capture, Amanda!

September 18th, 2013
Ha! I love your brand of crazy !
September 18th, 2013
I'm soooo glad I'm retired. This seems to be the primate version of an Edvard Munch painting.
September 18th, 2013
Fantabulous shot!!!! We all have felt like this from time to time. So cool that you captured this show of emotion! Hope all is going well with your plans...seems to be happening so quickly?
September 18th, 2013
Mac
Haha! Love it. Rein the crazy in just enough so it doesn't pull too hard, but you're going to have to give it a good run real soon.
September 18th, 2013

Thanks so much for your kind comments and support, my friends. We need to move quickly to avoid living in a home that is on the market. I can't imagine trying to maintain a house that is immaculate and ready for showing with 3 kids and a dog. We did find one and are moving forward in the process. Just need to get the inspection done and if all looks good then we will sign the contract next week. Hope to move on November 1. Soooo much to accomplish before that. It will be/I will be crazy. Like this monkey!:) Love the Brooklyn accent idea, here, Dawn:). So fun!
September 19th, 2013
wow, cool shot
September 19th, 2013
Fabulous capture! I've been out of the 365 loop (my own self-imposed intervention) -- how exciting that you're moving!
September 20th, 2013
@dreamatrix Thanks, Paul. You missed my Red Light Riding Hood shot...
September 20th, 2013
@wendyhgill My husband held an intervention for me the other night. Seriously! It was just he and I, but I had to get outside help involved. Good for you for taking a break on your own. I've had to back off myself. Thanks, friend. We are forced to...our landlord is selling the house...but we found a place close by that we love. We wouldn't have looked or found it had we not been forced. And we plan to rent to own and buy in a year. Hope that it works out. Still need the inspection to be sure. Fun, crazy times:). And probably a good time for me to back off to pack and such.
September 20th, 2013
Are you remaining in the WKRP area?
September 20th, 2013
@skipt07 Is that Cincy? I think so, yes? Yes. We are moving less than 2 miles away...the kids will stay at the same school even. This is should it all work out. We are still in process with inspections and contract. Coming together, though and we are hopeful. We love our area and have only been here for a year and a half. Glad to not move far at this point. In the past 9 years, we've moved cross country twice and I am over the big changes at least for awhile. Thanks for asking.
September 20th, 2013
@amandal - That's good! There won't be as much of transitioning as there would be moving to a different town or state. Do you remember the old TV show, WKRP in Cincinnati! Dr. Johnny Fever, Les Nessman and Venus Flytrap?
September 20th, 2013
@skipt07 Vaguely. I was a kid. It was reruns I saw I think. I couldn't remember if that was a Cincy show or a Cleveland show. I wonder when it aired? We are grateful. I so don't want to uproot the kids from school again (if we can help it). We will be slightly closer to my parents. And currently we live in a more retirement type community and we will be moving into more of a family neighborhood which will be nice for friendships for the kiddos.
September 20th, 2013
@amandal - That is nice that you'll be living in an area where the kids will have other kids to make friends with! Now you made me feel very old. It aired from 1978 - 1982. It was a corny sitcom. I think the big draw was Loni Anderson!
September 20th, 2013
@skipt07 Ah, Loni. Is she still married to Burt Reynolds? He went to my alma matter and I got to see him at a football game once. I was born in 76. It was still airing when I was growing up:).
September 20th, 2013
@amandal - No she and Burt were married only 5 years and were divorced in 1993. So you are from Michigan. Burt was 40 when you were born. My son-in-law was from Michigan and two of my former pastors are graduates of MSU. It's a small world!
September 20th, 2013
I thought that he went to FSU? Maybe it was grad school for him. That is Florida State. We did visit MI this summer. It's gorgeous up there!! @skipt07
September 20th, 2013
@amandal - He and his family moved to Florida after his father got out of the Army. He went to Palm Beach High School and upon graduation went to FSU on a football scholarship.
September 20th, 2013
@skipt07 He drove the flaming spear into the Seminole head at a Homecoming game one year. I was so excited to see Smokey...or was he the Bandit?!
September 20th, 2013
@amandal - The Bandit! :)
September 20th, 2013
@skipt07 How funny! I've got to watch that movie someday!!
September 20th, 2013
I thought he had just seen your Red Riding shot?
September 21st, 2013
@bobfoto Who knew monkeys liked red capes? Or maybe he's like a bull and wants to charge me? Hmmm...
September 22nd, 2013
Very cool shot.
