Love her obsession with the fluff here. What a prissy preener!! Our flamingos are a bit on the albino side here. I wonder if they don't get enough shrimp? Or are they just a different variety?

I love flamingos. I think they are a very elegant bird and I actually prefer them with a lighter pink plumage. We used to go to a place called Flamingo Land when I was little and living in Yorkshire. It is a theme park and I think it has improved a lot since I used to go. I hope it has anyway.

We move in 3 weeks, travel for the holidays, etc. But I will shoot and post as often as I can. I may take some time off as needed but still hope to finish my year up on Dec. 31. @friend2303 Well thank you very much. I go in spurts. I find that I have really good days where I will get several good/great images and then go days without taking photos. That works for me. It's been so long since I've taken photos. I feel the itch to shoot again tomorrow. That's the beauty of year 2 for me...more freedom.
