Well it is official...we signed on Friday, and the place is ours. It's been a whirlwind of trips over to do our celebratory family happy dance, drop off stuff, packing, picking up supplies...and tomorrow I go over to start painting the interior (making Lucas' room not pink). It feels good.
Can't wait to see the woods in the snow and see the deer and birds that the previous owner mentioned to us. Can't wait to officially move in in another couple weeks. Looking forward to having people over again. Wanna have a big 365 party at my place?!;-)
And I am already starting it off with my new neighbors in that I had to take this shot standing in their yard. My lens kills me, really it does!
nice place. Looks like plenty of room for you and Mike to expand the family... you're not keeping anything from us now? You buying a 9-seater people mover next?
Congratulations on the new home!!! It looks fantastic! It will be fun to explore all the new nooks and crannies photographically. We have been looking at moving soon and I think new photo opp's are one of the most exciting parts to me. I hope that the move goes seemlessly!

@bobfoto NO MORE KIDS!! Done with that. We have a 7 person Odyssey which serves us just fine and this place has a room for each kid. A 4 bedroom. It didn't work out so well having the girls share at our current place. Thanks, Jason.

@bobfoto Nope. Physically impossible. I'd have lots of 'splainin' to do. I looked like a freak of nature pregnant. People always thought I was having twins or due any day when I had months left. Each one was tougher. Done with those days...

@summerfield Oh shoot, I didn't think that through...and the carpet is all cream. What the hell?! Who can do cream carpet with 3 kids and a black lab puppy? What I need are cement floors with a drain in each room that I can hose down periodically;-). Thanks, friend!

I absolutely love your house, Amanda. So happy for you and your family. Good timing too, as you do not have to clean up leaves till next Fall. WIsh I lived close and could come by and visit and go out and shoot photos.

Only just seen this great pic of your lovely new home. Amanda. What a wonderful setting too. Try not to stress about the move as somehow it will all get packed up in time and then you just have to set a realistic timeframe for getting unpacked and sorted the other end. Rome wasn't built in a day as they say.
