I Flipped Again and Edited in a Sunset

I am over our season of gray. Done. And really it's just begun. My photos were gray, gray and more gray so I had to edit in a little color today to keep myself sane. I thought a sunsetty orange would be pretty.

This is another flipped reflection shot and this place is right by the gazebo...the bridge that you take before approaching it. I was drawn to the spindly, wintery trees reflected in the water. This shot is mostly all reflection but for a tiny bit at the bottom.

Wouldn't it be nice if life were as easy to edit as photos are? The sky is gray today, click...now it is blue and filled with puffy white clouds. Oh I shouldn't have said that...crop it out. What are these lines on my face...erase erase erase...good as new.

I guess that each day we have breath, we have a new chance to start over, say the right things, apologize, put on that wrinkle cream and even bask in the grayness if that is what we are given. Make the most of it, my friends. Each day is precious and a gift.

I soooo appreciate you all and your wonderful support this week. I've had two shots make the PP thanks to your support. The Christmas tree one and then yesterday's flipped reflection gazebo shot. Thanks so much for your great comments, faves and kindness.

Love it! And Holy cow are we on some cosmic track or what? We are supposed to have fog in the morning so I'm going to look for some sort of fog shot. Shall we go for the image trifecta?

@sbolden If it's foggy, I'll go out and try to get something:). Nutty week, though, we move Saturday! Thanks!

Lovely tones and the reflections is wonderful. I so agree with you that each day is a precious gift :)

Days get even more precious later in life, and they go by faster. Anyway, good idea making this a warm monochrome. The trees give a feeling that winter is around the corner.

Very cool processing! Nice to take matters of season and weather into our own hands sometimes! Great result here!

You really could have fooled me, it´s so perfect far too perfect as a mather of fact! And that processing, unique and cool tones, very beautifully done. Oh I´m liking that idea, edit life...there´s a few things I´d like to erase, some misstakes that I ´d rather leave undone....but I guess it´s like you said, that every day is another chance to start again. Today is the first day of rest of your life.

Super amazing reflection, Amanda. Love what you did with it. I am going to have to play with some of my photos though they may be old ones from the past. I do not get vies or photos like you get. FAV

I really like the picture, but more so before the editing (even though it was gray). I also like the sunshine that you bring to the world, even on gray days.

@mzzhope You are so sweet, Hope...thank you!

@sugarmuser Really appreciate that, Sharon!

@mikeable Thanks a bunch. That means a lot. And I agree about preferring the pre processed version...I just could not BEAR to put another gray photo up. I don't want to depress my friends and followers.
