They have no idea the wild ride they are in for soon. And neither do we, really.

I did love the "maid of the mist" boat trip. You have captured the powerful water so well! Sounds like you have a storm heading your way... hope you all stay safe.
@cimes1 You know, I don't know the names of any of them. I head someone say American Falls. This was the main one and then looking down is the other. Is that American? Where is Horseshoe? Who knows? Thank you. It was amazing.

@amandal This looks like the spot where I took the rainbow one last June. They are such spectacular falls. And looking down on them is dizzyingly great! That's what I feel you captured here.
@taffy Yep, this was the rainbow spot...and I should have changed my lens to capture it better like you did. Just got pieces and parts of it, not the whole scene. I changed out when I moved to the other overlook.

@summerfield I had no idea you were so close. Dang it. This time would not have worked out. We were there for an hour tops. Just walked up shot a few photos and peddled out. My littlest came down with a tummy bug that morning or we would have taken at least a little bit more time. Had hoped to take the Maid of the Mist out. We plan to go back...we have some friends to visit in Buffalo, NY. When we go, I'll be sure to let you know. A meet up would be so fun. Maybe you can go with Mira and Edie, too, and we can all meet. Have you met Edie yet? Is she in town now?
