While out driving around recently, I saw this awesome orange tree and leaf covered walkway. I was very happy to be able to get over there awhile later for photos.
I've been feeling rather over photos lately. Too many taken lately. Too many good ones to use. Too many edits. Too many decisions. I was asked if I wanted to go out yesterday, but I had to decline. My camera and I needed a break. Today I go out for a walk at my old lake again and then tomorrow another fall photo field trip with Meg. I'll take less shots, if any.
Busy, busy week with Halloween coming up. My days are packed until then.
A great shot Amanda with lovely autumn colours. I would love to have more time to shoot great shots like yours. A nice position to be in spoilt for choice in great shots. This is a very inventive title.
I have gotten so involved with picture taking I forgot my volleyball game last Thursday night. Dam Cupcake !!!!! I also need to put the camera down !!!! I just ordered a new camera and it should arrive today if I'm home to sign for it. Guess I'll be spending a lot of time learning to use it.
This is beautiful Amanda, I understand what you are saying, feel a bit like that myself this week so had a few days 'off' Desperately trying to catch up now though!!
This is beautiful Amanda! I know what you mean re too many photos. My camera goes in for repair and I think it will be fine to have a break for a change! So many of Australia to process...
@newbank Really I'm good. Just over photos. I think it's a project slump. It's like feast or famine. I've had a feast of ops lately and am sick of sorting, editing, looking at photos. Just need a few days off I think:). So much in the bank to post, though.
@newbank Nah, I'm not going anywhere. I could post weeks with fillers. Fall has peeked and isn't sooo amazing anymore really. I have a photowalk scheduled tomorrow. Hope I feel like shooting a few things anyway:).
@newbank Everyday is a filler for me, but I shoot regularly and they are all pretty current. I like the freedom fillers allow. I can't be a slave to this project (though I am to a degree).
Wow, this is so beautiful, Amanda. The colors are amazing and your photo is perfect. You sound like me, I take too many photos of one thing and ponder over them way too long. You need to frame this one. Or use it for the book you will write, the cover. Great card too, for your Mom or others. FAV Wish we had colors like this here. Nice to see them via those like you.
@amandal Since I have to stay close to home, I do not get much variety of trees unless it is the weekend and we venture out. I noticed that those close to home that change color have not yet. I love woodsy and you just gave me a great idea as there is an area close to home that may give me what I am missing. Hoping my husband is feeling better on the weekend.
Amanda, I cheat!!! So everyone can sue me!! Some days when I go out I get more than just one photo that I like and want to share, so I do!! One on one day and another on another day. Some days I don't get any photos I like, so I go back and put up one of the others that I did like! Don't put the pressure on yourself. You can burn out too fast that way. I really don't think much of anyone cares to tell the truth. I just want to see photos and get ideas, and learn from them, what day they were taken makes no difference to me!!

Totally awesome catch. We all need a break at some point. The thing to remember always is just to make this a fun project and do whatever you want and whatever fits your schedule. There are no rules. Your photos are so entertaining. Another fav!
@cashew I post mostly all fillers. Shoot regularly, just don't post them usually the day of. I go through times of taking lots of shots and times when I don't care to at all. Thanks for your encouragement and fav!
