Malcolm in the Middle of the Autumn Pond

I'd been meaning to check out this pond at a nearby park all season. The other day, we were at the park, I brought my camera and ran back to see how it looked. The lady was back their with the dog. First instinct, "Dang it, get out of my shot." And then I realized that she made it more interesting and better. And the dog was a Westie, the kind I had growing up.

Later, I chatted with her and learned that the dog was named Malcolm. Didn't ask for or get her name. Funny that.

I love this shot with her and her dog in it. Beautiful reflections and wonderful Fall colors. FAV Our neighbors tree is blooming. Not supposed to do that till after the leaves turn and Fall which they have not done. Nature is sure confused around here. We need rain!
