Windows to the Winter Woods

Another snow day for the kids today. Longest weekend ever...5 days.

Ready for them to go back to school as there is lots of bickering around the house.

But my backyard, all painted in snow sure is nice. Love our back room...best view in the house!
What a majestic view you have! Very nicely framed.

Are there snowmen or slopes for sledding in the backyard?

@cejaanderson We need to put in a zipline...we have a steep hill to zip down. That would be great for snowmen!

@soboy5 Thanks. I should show the view from all 4 seasons.

What a beautiful view!!! It would be my favorite room too!! I love a lot of windows and light and what better view than the woods and nature? I like Danny's idea of the four seasons!!!
We had a 5 day weekend for the kids here also, not mine, thank God!!! Mine are all grown, but I do remember those days which we called hell week, but just know that like me, as they have kids of their own, they get to have hell week also!!! LOL FAV!

What a pretty view you have out this massive window. I love it when snow piles on the branches like this. A four-seasons collage of this window is in order for sure!

@amandal Not too foggy here, most of it in Sacramento that cleared up to high clouds and some sun. Overcast most of the day here though. Love the drizzly fog as it makes for great photos.

@edie Thanks, my friend. So, there is life after Mad Hatters...I quit this week. Mixed emotions about it, but all in all ok. It was a little hard to let go, but got to where I wasn't enjoying it so much anymore. Working now part time, but it is a hard adjustment. How are you?
