This is a bonsai from the bonsai exhibit at Krohn's Conservatory in Cincinnati. I have had and killed two bonsai trees.
If you have a bonsai, I suggest not allowing me anywhere near the thing.
Huh, my tulips from Valentine's day are dying, too. I'm a plant killer! Maybe it's the water.
Wishing you a peaceful, wonderful and balanced weekend. Mine will be busy as I have a boy turning 10...a big thing to celebrate! Thanks for all of your love of the waterfall shot from yesterday.
I think you could use my Nevyn, he's great with plants and flowers. He made me plant a tulipbulb today. You captured this bonsai real well and didn't kill it ;-)
I love this and have always wanted one. I worry about killing them too as they are not cheap to buy. I hope it does well. I have no house plants at this point but have a good spot in our backyard for potted plants that seem to do well. Great shot, Amanda. FAV
You, me, bonsai trees...not a good combination! I quit trying after the second one I killed!!! I can grow anything outside but just mention inside to a plant and it wilts in front of me!! This is a gorgeous tree and I do hope it grows for you!! FAV!!
@skipt07 Wax on wax off, Daniel son. There was a man working on them, but finished up just as I went in there. Wanted to take photos of him working. Such a cool escape from the cold to visit the conservatory for the afternoon...a mini vacation.
Beautiful shot of the pretty bonsai. I've never had one but the same thing would probably happen to me :-) Wishing your son a very happy and fun 10th birthday!
Yes, some things are meant to be loved from a distance! Bonsais never did it for me....I think they are more meditative plants, and you have too much energy for that!

I use to kill all green plants in my house, even cactus...it just takes more time....
