Though I don't hat much anymore, I decided to play along as I just bought us a new ball.
The ball reminded me of playing dodgeball in 5th grade in PE class. I will never forget the day Billy Brockett, this cute, cool, curly headed kid in my class threw the ball, hit me square in the face and I flew up in the air like a rag doll and landed on my back on the ground. I still can see it in slow motion...his wild expression, the ball hurdling so slowly toward me, my feet air born, and looking up at the sky. Billy Brockett...wonder what happened to that kid?
Today I had the day off, went to the dentist and then came home and did selfies. It was a happy day. Oh and I wore shorts and showed off my white winter legs.
@maggiemae He really was. I actually told on him for bullying my sweet friend. He and another boy ganged up on her and were actually sexually harassing her. They went to the office for that and I think threatened to kill me. Sweet boys. Oy. Maybe he knocked me down to pay me back for telling.
Your teeth, fresh from the dentist, look fab in the shot on the left. :) Too bad you are knocked out, no smile, on the right. This is a fun combo of shots... glad you had a great day.
Ooo I liked dodgeball. Though I always wondered if one could get WILSON imprinted backwards across one's forehead. Your expression is fabulous - throw it like you mean it!
I was almost scared, Amanda, but relieved that you fell over! I am reminded of playing rugby at school at the age of 12. I learned that whenever I got the ball I had to throw it in the air and run - or some huge lout would clatter into me. I dropped the sport as soon as I was allowed!
