It’s the little things...

1. A lot of cooking and food...my husbands favorite part of the holiday.
2. Delivering some of that food to my mom who is 85 and lives alone.
3. Mom had (1st time) successfully video chatted with my sister and her family. Loved it!
4. Enjoyable phone visits with both of our sons who live out of state.
5. In the photo: a handmade card from my sister and an apple tart...our younger son and new daughter-in-law made apple tarts and mini pumpkin cheesecakes & shipped us a box full!
6. 365 which is a daily much-needed mood elevator!

I can echo many sentiments on your list- it was a huge blessing to be able to be with my sister and her family (like always) and had wonderful phone conversations with both our sons. Your picture really says it all!
