More info on black squirrels for those who’ve asked….they are a subgroup of squirrels; a morph of either eastern gray squirrels or fox squirrels. The eastern gray squirrel morphs are found primarily in Ontario and Michigan while the fox squirrel morphs are found in the southeastern U.S.
