recent reads: one from Mark Billingham’s Tom Thorne series (a favorite of mine); Joanna Schaffhausen’s Ellery Hathaway series (not bad); a murder mystery set during a film shoot (lots of great movie business info; mediocre plot) and finally Heft (excellent writing, quirky and touching)

Another interesting set of books, and I don't know any of them! There are so many books out there. I am currently reading a wartime series by Lee Jackson - starting with "After Dunkirk".
I’ve just read Mark Billingham’s The Last Dance with his new Detective Miller which I enjoyed very much.
