Collins Arch by ankers70

Collins Arch

I have been doing some more architectural exploration of Melbourne so here's another shot of one of the city's newer interesting buildings. Side view of Collins Arch from Market Street. It was completed in 2020, Woods Bagot and Shot Architects.

I like all the facets and the ziggurat-like stepping of this side of the building.

Hard to get the whole building in but more about it with some good images here: https://www.collinsarch.com.au/

What a great perspective. It’s like a stairway to the sky.

I usually prefer old buildings, but some special modern buildings can get into my heart.

I know what you mean. Some modern buildings are really superb, others a bit 'blah'.
