Lake Burrumbeet by ankers70

Lake Burrumbeet

Out and about today so a bit late posting.

Lake Burrumbeet is the largest of four shallow, freshwater lakes just west of Ballarat in Central Victoria. It is frequently dry but, because of last season's good rain, it is currently full. Its large surface area (approx 24 sq km) means high winds can create significant wave action.

Great expanse of water. The sun is catching the waves nicely.

It is a very big lake and very full this year. Often it is nearly dry.
