The Cathedral Arcade (1924), on the ground floor of the heritage-listed Nicholas Building, connects Flinders Lane and Swanston Street. It is the only extant example of a lead-light roofed and fan-lit arcade in Melbourne. It was commissioned by the Nicholas brothers who made their fortune through Aspro, the tablet form of Aspirin.
