PARLIAMENT HOUSE - Melbourne

PARLIAMENT HOUSE is one of Melbourne's best known landmarks. Facing the intersection of Spring and Bourke streets, the west facade of the building; sweeping steps, elegant lamps, grand colonnade, suggests solidity and strength.

Surprisingly - ha ha - it was a drizzly day - I want to return and go closer in and around next time
So grand. I want to see in!

I love your processing. I have had quite a few marches to these steps over the last couple of years.

@karlow75 marches?

@annied yes, mainly maching to protest against the previous governments cuts to the fire service, and other issues like them dragging us through court. Fun times :)

A very worthy building. If I recall correctly it was also used by Federal Parliament until Old Parliament House was built in Canberra (1927?).
