I went out to take a photo of the flower - I had noticed one the previous evening - it had fallen overnight - but the foliage colours are wonderful too!

@annied I thought you were a lot further north! We love Sydney and have friends in Beecroft and Carlingford who've shown us some lovely sights when visiting there! Lucky you!!! (OK, you can KEEP the sweltering! We discovered your east coast is like our east coast in the summer, too...think Florida!)
