fortunately I insisted on my choice of start of walk point - if we'd gone from my friend's house we'd have had to turn back as she would never have walked through the field of cows. They are right on the path - and two of them seem engaged in a test of barging strength!
Cows? No problem. Cows and calves? Dodgy! We got chased out of a field by cows with calves once, fleeing over a fence into an adjoining garden. Nice view
