i put off the tax papers because you guys cheered me up whilst i was suffering from vertigo, now it's time i return the favour, and so i painted this.
@casablanca - i hope for your speedy recovery; take care of those beautiful eyes, we need those for painting.
@salza - sally, i hope your shoulders heal soon; i'm pretty sure the surgery will make you 100% again. we need that arm for painting, too!
@theredcamera - i hope you are over the cold and this humble painting cheers you up and get you out of that depression. i will read a psalm for your mother when i go to bed later. she's priority.

i watched the videos that monika posted in our private album. i practiced the sunflower strokes. no dice! i couldn't do it, alright! so i just winged this. i was going to do hydrangea instead but that would take ages and i wanted to do this for you first. maybe i will do the hydrangea after the tax papers are done.
@summerfield I feel better just looking at your vase of sunshine! Thank you so much for your thoughtfulness, and I'm so glad you refilled your mind and heart with art.
