It was love at first sight when I saw this image. But I did not dare paint after it. The details are very complicated to render, beyond my skills. And the shape of the building turned out a bit crooked. But I am quite fine with the result. It was a challenge and I am mostly happy that I did it. It is done in watercolour and ink. @monikozi
@monikozi oh, I think this is an excellent rendition of that photo! I love how you have created a suggestion of the tiles and the brick! You have caught the tones perfectly and the light.
@monikozi - this is excellent, i saw it this morning but i didn't have a chance to turn on my laptop until now. looking at the photo, the roof tiles is rather daunting but i shall have a try on it at some point. aces!
