Election Day, past & present

My grandmother Nora's Tuesday, November 2, 1920 diary entry. The first election that American women could vote, and my vote today as we hopefully make history again.
I have an off the wall question. Can I share your photo and commentary on my Facebook feed today? I truly found this inspiring, and that's rare.. I understand if no. Thank you for sharing this today.

Quite right my dear...I also never take that right for granted and have voted in every election since I was 18 years old. I always remember the ladies who suffered hardships and male ridicule so we could have this right. Love the story about your family history....

It looks like a very sad turn of events.

Amazing to have that history preserved! In Britain women got the vote in 1918 and my great grandmother was a suffragette, so it has always been in my family the importance of casting our votes! As I am working backwards I am so sorry you got the wrong President. x
