Umbrella but no bowler hat !! ( word for the day )
It's amazing how a little sunshine can lighten the mood !! So an outing was in order !! I called at this railway station which was made redundant in Mr Beeching era and was later converted into an Edinburgh Wool & other shops . I was not enticed to buy anything today , but had a rather nice afternoon tea in the little Cafe upstairs which was tastefully decorated with memorabilia & snippets of history from the railway age .As we sat domn with our tea i looked up & ther was a replica train carriage rack with a case & other items AND a rolled up umbrella hung from the rack what luck !!!
@thresheg@maggiemae@gamelee@hillymay Thanks for your kind comments they have kept the railway station theme throughout the building and in tourist season they have the sounds of a steam train going by -echoing through the building -really makes you want to jump out onto the platform & onto the next train !!
@jo13@happypat@digitalrn@eniaral Yep !! lovely place & I did enjoy my cuppa and a beautiful home made sandwich crammed with the filling + a lovely garnish ( no cake for me as I am diabetic & have been rather naughty over Easter !!! )
