It's as beautiful as a poppy but can now see its an old fashioned rose! Simply pulchridudinous! I bet you thought I don't know what this means and you would be right but apps come to the fore!
Thank you Paul --looking at it now I wish that I had not place the two macro next to one another in the bottom left !! -not a very good balance of things !! but hey !! better next time I hope !! The dog rose has been spectacular this year and also the elder flower --but as yet haven't had a chance to stop & shoot !!

Fabulous collage and a lovely series of shots. It has been a fantastic year for dog roses and our hedgerows in particular. Perhaps the hard winter had something to do with it?
