Beryl they look so happy. I was talking to a guy at Spring Grove and mine died over the winter. They are getting in three pair later this summer. I never knew this but he said that the first lake that they fly out of is "their" lake.
@paulaw Thanks Paula Knee coming along fine but still on antibiotics for the infection with feet & lower legs swelling !! Back to the consultant next thurs -- perhaps by then he will decide I can go without the antibitics !! Also been to the Rheumatologist and back on methotrexate - so feeling better from the Polymyalgia !!
Oh poor you, I feel grotty enough with just my 20mg weekly dose of methotrexate so with all those strong antibiotics as well you must be feeling pretty horrible. Hope it's positive news next week when you visit the consultant!
Yes I think I remember my rheumatologist saying that's the internationally recognised dosage. He also said it was a very dose specific drug as I found out last year when we tried to reduce it as I was doing so well. Symptoms came back with a vengeance and it took weeks to get them back under control. It isn't a pleasant drug but it is a life changing one. I'm lucky that I only have to have my blood tests every 3 months these days as my liver seems to be coping with it - miss the alcohol sometimes though!!!! Oh well thank goodness for modern medicine!
