In spite of all this rain we're having again , the Poppies are looking good and standing proud in the garden . So far today it's a dark ,miserable and drizzly day
Yesterday I went out and bought some geranium plants -- and Gary helped me plant some of them last night in the border to the front of the house -- the rest will go in not yet prepared tubs and troughs Its excellent planting weather as there is no need to water them in !!

Yes Paula it's the spotted Laurel ( Aruba Japonica ) Fed up of this wet weather -- by tonight the Poppies are pretty bedraggled !! --but some new buds to come !!
Beautiful shot, just love the framing and processing. Brings a whole new meaning to tall poppies. Tall poppies here in Oz are people who get too big for their boots. Not the case here though.
