My favourite clock in the living room . . I love this old wall clock that has been in the family since the mid 1800s. Its solid tic-toc is so comforting . My Grandmother bought this clock second-hand at a house auction when the Minister of our Congregational Chapel left the village to go on to another posting .
Another dark dismal and wet morning here in the UK
We have an old clock , which was Phil's Dads, it doesn't go any more & keep meaning to take it to a repair shop. Does this strike the hour?
Nice capture.
Beautiful old clock. David found one very similar in our local recycle sheds. It is in a bad way, but he is hoping to restore it. just another of his many projects.
The modern clocks can never come up to the standard of these proper clocks. Nothing like a steady tic-tock in the house. Does it have a chime Beryl? Nice you know it's history.
Nice capture.
