This little Jenny wren often hops around in my garden ,but she is very shy and elusive . I was very thrilled to have caught her on camera . Not a very good shot as it was taken through a rather steamed up Kitchen window . I had only one chance before she swiftly flew away !
It looks as if we can compare notes Beryl. You were so unlucky, I'm sure this time you will be out quickly. Shoulders are another one I might have to have done because of all the swimming I do but I am trying to ignore them for the moment😕
@craftymeg I know it doesn't help but it is comforting to know there are others in similar state to yourself I have had a mobility scooter ( for the past 3-4 years , and makes going out possible as my back is crumbling as well and an op is not advisable !! so 365 has been a great comfort over the past 3+ years .
How wonderful having this tiny bird visit you Beryl. They are so small that I'm sure you would have to watch the bird table very regularly to maybe catch a glimpse of this elusive bird. I dont remember ever seeing a wren in real life since I was a child.
A wonderful Jenny Wren capture I have had a pair in my garden these last few years and one year found their nest complete with babies love to see them flitting around but never managed to photograph one.
Btw. Do you know the Dutch name for wren? It's 'winterkoninkje', little king of winter. Nice, isn't it?
