The blue bells are starting to show their wonderful blue in the garden . A senior moment ,-- I can not remember the name of the variegated plant in the shot !!
A beautiful sunny morning here and the sun is beckoning me out to the garden !
A couple of days ago I had a disappointment - my knee replacement surgery was postponed from next tues till mid May !! So yesterday I spent time on line searching for last minute availability of holiday apartments achieved my quest and have booked the Easter Week in Llandudno ! So I have precisely one week to get myself sorted !
So pretty. From the photo it looked like the flower bud was part of that plant. The name will come to you, or someone will recognize it and identify it for you!

A lovely close-up of the tulip and it does look nice against the variegated leaf. It's a shame about the hospital delay but good to have a holiday to look forward to. Every cloud and all that.
Out of disappointment comes something better Beryl. I know younwoukd rather get the op over & done with but a little holiday will put you on! Bluebells already! No sign of mine yet, I have one of those plants in my garden but can't think of the name. Lovely photos of Wales to come then?
You deserve the trip! Are you having both knees done at once? In the end, you'll feel so much better but I know you'll have some challenges and wish you a speedy 'journey' through rehab. Enjoy every minutes til then!
I photographed some bluebells this morning down at our local woodland although many were still in bud. This is very pretty with the variegated leaves Beryl although for the life of me I can't remember what they're called either! Sorry to hear your surgery has been delayed but hope you have a lovely time in Llandudno.
@taffy Thanks Taffy , no had the right knee done approx. 3 years ago , but unfortunately not very pain-free -- hope this one will behave better !! And yes I am looking forward to my trip to Wales ( my homeland ! ) my mobility scooter copes well with the flat prom etc of Llandudno !
@paulaw My bluebells are in a sheltered spot ! in the garden ! but the variegated leaves have got the better of me -- I think I shall blame it on senior moments ! Hope you are well and your mum is settled in the care home ! xx
