This rose in my garden has just started flowering - A semi-double petal rose . IT starts its life as a yellow rose but as the rose grows older it turns red .
Met up with one of my friends today for lunch -- Mary and I taught together for aprox14 to 15 years until we both retired . We hadn't met up for over 12 months -- so there was a lot to catch up and chatter about !! The pub was delightful and so was our lunch , but I completely forgot to take a photo !!
Lovely shot, so interesting that it changes colour. Nothing nicer than catching up with friends
I am going to miss our girlie lunch this week because I have a hospital appointment.
Lovely capture and a fascinating rose I wonder how it changes colour must be something to do with ageing. Nice to meet up with friends and have a long catch up.
