The botanical name Dianthus is derived from dios, god, and anthos, which means flour. Soil flour or divine flower. Probably the Greek plantational Theophrastus (371-287 BC) gave the plant this name.

The dig shows are so interesting at these shows, they have some very funny classes! Just thinking you must be getting about Well if you were able to attend a show with all the uneven ground...glad for you Beryl!
