Such a damp and dismal day

Such a typical November day - one of the dark days before Christmas and we needed lights on in the house nearly all day .

So got going with writing my Christmas Cards , now all I have to do is to write a little note to go with some of them ! and most important buying the postage stamps - makes it an expensive item - but I do love to send and receive Christmas Cards The house looks so cosy and festive with all the cards hanging up !

Nice silhouettes and feel of dismal! Same here today and now it’s very cold wind and rain. I have yet to finish my cards, made 30 another 30 to go, I send all my local cards in a 10 mile radius by scout rate. They post door a flat rate of think 20p, saves me a fortune!! I don’t know if there is an suc scheme at your end?

I agree Beryl. I posted my foreign ones today....the post office guy said do you need more stamps for cards...seeing as I need loads & it’s a costly item I said ‘not yet’! Heavy rain here all afternoon! Can’t really remember last time it rained hard so can’t grumble!
