Small plates and saucers made by the locally pottery in Coalport near Ironbridge in Shropshire . I loved these when I saw them many years ago in a local Antique centre , and bought them without the coffee cups to hang on my living room wall !
Been a busy couple of days - yesterday was rather a busy day so got too tire to post last night . Popped to the shops for basic essential groceries in the morning - I had run out of milk ! Late morning my plumber arrived to look at my toilet cistern and replaced the worn part - so all systems go now !
A few days earlier I had ordered a recline and swivel chair which arrived in a flat pack !! - instructions - a vague , sketchy instruction leaflet for two to build - approx. time 20 minutes !! they must have been joking !! Not being agile at all !! and sometimes more hindrance than help we managed it in approx. 3 hours with two little screws still not homed to finish the job !! Unfortunately my whole body had gone stiff and painful and had no strength to hold the chair in such a position for Gary to finish the job - So until I can muster strength ,the chair sits there with the two screws safely sitting in a little pin dish !
Oh Beryl, me & Harry could never tackle putting a flat pack together so I salute you! Not that we aren’t up to it physically it’s th3 whole putting together bit!neither of us are very good at that thing, always try before we read the instructions! We can’t do instructions!
Anyway sounds like you got the toilet fixed, a miracle to get a plumber these days! We found a real good one this year....he actually comes when you ring him! Lovely plates & a good buy! Have a good nights sleep!
Lovely Coalport plates i didn't realise you were so close to the factory I have a lovely Coalport figurine I hate dusting it in case I break it. Your new chair will be lovely for you to rest in and have a snooze if you want hope you get it sorted soon.
Beautiful China plates. Whoever writes those instructions has never put anything together. Maybe they sent extra screws, just to mess with your mind. Smile.

Flatpacks are a bugger to put together especially when the instructions are written in Chinglish. I always end up with screws left over too.
