The variegated leaf pieris is in flower , despite the cold winds and a light covering of snow overnight , Another sunny morning but cold - the snow should all go away pretty soon I hope !
So funny to see the council grass-cutter trimming the grass verges of grass AND snow- but I suppose they have to keep to their scheduled time table whatever the weather !
I remember snow in April when I lived in the UK. I woke up on 1st April drew the curtains and said 'It's snowing' Of course, David didn't believe me as he thought I was playing an April Fool trick on him. He got a terrible shock when he looked out of the window and saw that it was snowing. ha ha.
Hope the frost doesn’t catch your Pieris Beryl.....unusual to have a white one....I hate the wind but it’s time we had some warmer sun....no surprise it’s cold at Easter though!
