The tradesman tools . by beryl

The tradesman tools .

Not a lot to report today and no photo opportunity . Neil's tidy corner of tools of the trade -- Hopefully he will finish tomorrow ! I feel exhausted doing nothing , and every bone in my body aches ! It will be good to have the weekend to relax !

PS no need to worry about the carpet - this will be replaced anon !
It will all have been worth the upheaval!

I go up and down some steps, Beryl, to get exercise - not far from home and I can sit down comfortably right after.

Nearly there Beryl and new carpets will be the icing on the cake.

Always good to see a tidy workman Beryl. I used to find that the tidying up at the end of the day was the worst part when I was doing the decorating as well as the cooking, housework etc. I do love decorating but do less of it now.

Sounds like the end is near!

The way Neil has assembled his tools in a tidy corner says a lot about his careful attentiveness. You have a winner decorator, Beryl (but you know that already). I hope he wraps up tomorrow and you have a relaxing weekend.

A tidy up when done for the day is always a good sign of a workman.

When all is done you have a new house. must feel good. And here now is something else to make you feel good.

Hi Beryl.
Coming back to what I called a Homemade Solution, I just found out that the main ingredient is actually already a topical antiseptic, named Rubbing Alcohol Compound. I never looked at the bottle, you see Hans always made it for me. the only difference is, we use the skin of a "ripe" and it has to be a ripe banana skin. you cut the b.skin in very small pieces, put them on the bottom of a 500 gram size air tide container, now I add about 1 to 1 1/2 inches of the Rubbing Alcohol Compound. let it sit for a week (don't remove the by now brown pieces of the b skin. then I take a cotton swap and leave it the container to use for a few applications to be replaced with a new one. it works like a charm. I've never tried the Rubbing Alcohol on it's own. Please let me know later on if it works for you.
As promised:
