In Sepia by beryl

In Sepia

Just had a play with yesterday's flower image , cropping and using a Sepia filter as I had no inclination to find a subject to shoot today !! I am in constant pain with my right shoulder , I have a clinic app with my consultant in a fortnight's time in view of being put on the waiting list for a shoulder replacement . And I can not wait !!!
I love the soft focus round the edging. Hope this editing took your mind off the pain for a short while?

Lovely vintage capture.
So sorry to hear you are having so much pain, I can empathise, is it a revision. Just not holding my breath for my op in a month.

Oh dear Beryl, how you suffer with your shoulder…I really hope you get on that list for a shoulder replacement. That sounds quite an op too…..it’s so hard being in constant pain, so wearing! Good to change the whole look of your flower photo….

@craftymeg Thanks Margaret , yes It will be a revision replacement , not looking forward to it but this constant pain is really so debilitating ! Ooh dear , so sorry of the uncertainty of having your op next month - This waiting and not knowing must be very upsetting - lets both try to keep our peckers up ! xx

Nicely done. Like the old fashing sepia color. Fav. Hope you shoulder will be soon cured. ( I`m well know by it. Had have three times an ``frozen shoulder`` myself. The cure takes a lot of time.)

The sepia works really well Beryl! I’m guessing after initial relief, the injection didn’t work? Hospital waiting lists are quite ridiculous too, let’s hope they see it as necessary to get you seen quickly!

@carole_sandford - Thanks Carole , the left shoulder nerve block was partially successful , much less pain but the nerve block in the right shoulder was a complete failure . and so much pain now radiating from the shoulder , up the neck and head ! Have an app with the consultant on the 28th April in view of a revision replacement ( replacing present prosthetic with new joint !! ) Not very medically literate !! - but hope you understand !!1

@beryl yes I understand Beryl, I bet the 28th can’t come quick enough! I never nursed anyone that had that particular replacement, just knees & hips. I think shoulders were perhaps fairly new when I did orthopaedics. Hopefully once you have seen your consultant you won’t have to wait too long.

This is really nice in sepia, Beryl! It gives a nice softening effect. Fav (So sorry to hear about your excruciating pain! I don't know how you get through your days, let alone post photos and comments. I sure hope you get on the list and have the surgery soon! Take care, Beryl)

The sepia treatment is lovely. I like both the color version and this. I’m so sorry you are having such constant pain. I can’t even imagine having my shoulder replaced, let alone having it done twice, but I’ll pray your wait will be shortened and you’ll have the best possible result.
