Hurray !! - another bright and sunny April's day, and while standing on my front door step I see this beautiful Magnolia in a neighbours garden! Such a big bush full of flowers, So wish it was in my garden at this moment , just hope we will not have any significant frost to harm the delicate flowers!
A few days late, but I have decided to join the "30-shots2023" under the title " Flora"
Fora 4 I thought it tricky today! The Magnolias are looking their best but just ordinary the rest of the year I think…..I can be persuaded different if anybody tells me otherwise! I don’t have a magnolia so it’s only guesswork.
@happypat I agree with you Pat -- it is the thought of all these beautiful flowers that look so out of season to brighten the gardens up , unless they are ruined by the late frost , and then after flowering, as you say - nothing to shout about! So after all I think I prefer to admire them in other people's gardens!
Such a pretty sight! I was only saying the other day, all these beautiful spring flowers & rubbish weather that does it’s best to wreck them! Another frost tonight….
Why am I not surprised that you chose this? They are gorgeous blossoms but, as someone else pointed out, you get to enjoy them without dealing with the mess when they drop off and become a mess on the ground. Hurray for having neighbors with a beautiful tree!
