Flora-20.
Out in the garden the spotted(or variegated) Aucuba is sporting these tiny unsignificant purple flowers, but quite pretty when viewed up close!
A sunny morning but the wind is so bitterly cold! - so deceiving!
I went and got my 6th covid booster today - previously I have had the Pfizer and the Moderna Vaccines but today it was Sanofi vaccine - a new one to me ( I must google it!! )
This is beautiful. I love the quiet plants, with small blooms, that are overlooked by many visitors to the garden. I feel that they are kind of a special treat for those of us who put more time, interest and effort into the garden.
A lovely little flower...I love finding little ones hidden in the garden.
That's a lot of boosters Beryl...I didn't realise people were having so many.. how often are they given?
Interesting to read about your 6th Covid jab. A friend has been & she said it was a new one.
Harry & I have been dithering waiting to see if people are taking it up.
Hope you have no reactions. This plant is a new one to me!
A lovely find Beryl I have never noticed these tiny flowers before on this shrub. I have my Covid booster tomorrow morning . I hope you feel well after your booster.
Lovely little flower. I have just had my fifth Covid vaccine. Had two
Astra Zeneca, two Pfizer and now one Moderna. Not heard of the latest one you have just had.
A pretty shot with the purple flowers against the sunlit green leaves. Fav (I'm all for boosters- got my 6th one in February, when our government was recommending that high-risk people (aged 65 and over) and immunocompromised folks get them every 3 months! Now the recommendation is every 6 months. I live for the day when we get the nasal vaccines (to prevent infection and transmission, not just bad outcomes). I asked a Canadian epidemiologist on Twitter when he thought nasal vaccines would be available: he thinks by the end of next year (2024) if all goes well. He stressed "if." Sorry to be going on about this, Beryl. I follow this stuff too much (but I did need to google your new vaccine :)
Lovely shot. I like the variegated leaves. I only took the first two Covid vaccine injections and when it came to the 3rd (booster) both me and Christine decided it was enough.
