When my late husband and I went on our summer holidays ,it usually coincided with our wedding anniversary and we would buy ourselves an item we both liked for the home or garden ! -- this vase or large jug ornament was one of these items -and I still love it especially with an arrangement of silk flowers and it sits on a pedestal in the Hallway !
@happypat Pat I do not mind at all Rod died after his secondary bout of cancer -- we had 11 wonderful years after his 1st op and treatment for cancer then the secondary cancer and treatment was too much for him although we fought it and he was extremely brave and determined until the end ( sorry tears in my eyes )Rod was only 50 and I have been widowed for just over 24 years and have wonderful memories -- no other man could take his place Pat and anyway I am too stuck in my ways to share with another man !!
