I like your interpretation Beryl. As fort he progressions, I thought that V - I was the usual cadence and if chord IV is used, shouldn't it be IV - V - 1 ?! For example F-G-C sounds right but G-F-C ? Maybe I'm just too rigidly classical!

@beryl You are quite right Beryl. I was thinking of the rules (as I understand them) from classical music that govern cadences. Rules are meant to be broken of course!
