We must have planted this Pieris shrub in the garden some 30 years or more ago -- (where does the time go !) I love this shrub and each Spring it does not fail to delight me !
Being a small variegated evergreen shrub ,each Spring it has bright red new young leaves which develop into silvery white edged leaves ,and at the same time it has clusters of white bell like flowers
I have other Pieris in the garden -- but this one is my favourite
This is lovely. We have a huge Pieris in full bloom at the moment but it's high up on a steep bank so I can't get anywhere near to get a close-up photo so thank you Beryl for sharing this.
