Not very clear -- bur I was so excited to see this little fella sitting in my Cherry tree . I have not seen a greenfinch in my garden for years and at first I had mistaken this one for a sparrow , as he was well hidden in the tree ,On closer look I found it was a Greenfinch I keep looking ,but I haven't seen another since !!
You on your side of the world saw a greenfinch for the first itme in your garden and me, (I) on my side of the world saw one too! what is happening! Well done - amidst all this greenery!
He's great, love them. I once sat for over an hour with one we found in our garden that seemed distressed/dazed. It stayed very still. Then, suddenly, it flew off into the shrubbery, and that was that!
