The phlox and fuchsias grow nicely next to one another amongst the sprays of the Silver Wormwood Plant Unfortunately this clump of Phlox is quite badly affected with mildew ,speckling the foliage The other Phlox other parts of the garden are OK . perhaps the drought has something to do with it !!Any suggestions from my gardener friends out there !!
Beautiful Beryl. powery mildew must be treated with a treatment you can get at any Garden Centre, or an old method is Skimmed Milk, Eight parts water and one part Skimmed Milk, spay on leafs and the ground because it effects the roots and can spread to other plants, hope this helps Beryl...
@tonygig Thank you Tony --I was hoping you would come up with a solution for me ! Since I posted this I found the skimmed milk remedy on the net -- shall try this first until I can get to a garden centre -- I do not want to get rid of the plant if I can as I like the right pink of the plant in that part of the garden ! Thanks again !
