I have always admired how beautiful dahlias are but have never had any in my flowerbeds. A local store had them on sale, so I decided to "treat" myself. Hey! It's Mother's Day on the 7th so... lol I think this color is called Tequila Sunrise. Very happy I bought two plants, even though they are only annuals. The pleasure will be worth it!
I planted some this year, too - think they're so pretty. Now to see if they survive an Arkansas summer with me who doesn't always remember to water when I should
@milaniet I hear you, Milanie! I am not always successful with flowers. Have gained a bit of confidence in that I still have the two African violets Ken gave me over a year ago. lol I love hydrangeas but have tried twice to have them in one of my flowerbeds (two different locations) and nada! :-( Oh, well! I hope your dahlias prosper! What color are yours?
