This was only one of many large buildings at this distillery that house the oak barrels of bourbon to be aged. Most did not have a glass front like this one. I was fascinated to see so many barrels lying on their side in just this one building!

I am surprised that they are behind glass when most vineyards and distilleries I have visited have them stored somewhere temperature controlled... maybe it is, it just looks odd to see that glass front!
@casablanca I'm sure they are temperature-controlled! All the other buildings holding the oak barrels full of aging bourbon were solid walls. Just thought this one was attractive. Maybe the visible barrels in this one are empty?
