Last year, because we are living in such a small house with no space for the large, living Christmas trees from our past, I did something I never imagined I would do... I bought a 4-foot tall, pre-lit, artificial tree!! It fits perfectly on our kitchen counter in a corner I can easily clear off for the holiday season! I think it's kind of pretty, and best of all, no needles dropping! :-)
