I took this shot of part of Sir Winston Churchill Square. This is located in the centre of downtown Edmonton. It is home to one festival after another starting in a couple of weeks The festivals run from the end of June unitl September.
I love this time of year and I really enjoy hanging out down here. I usually come through here on the way to and from work each day during the summer
So I am sure I will get in a few shots of the many festivals that run here over the next few months.

@ellen Thanks ellen. Unfortunately most of the square is cement. The square used to be all grass but it would turn soft and muddy whenever rain came so they went with the cement

There is a place near here that does the same thing throughout the summer and I'm going to try to make a few this year. Looks like this will be a nice spot for an outdoor concert.
