Take Time to Smell the Flowers

Well we are only a couple of days away from the first official day of summer here and the city once again is doing a great job of fixing up the downtown core with nice bright flowers. Stopped to take time to smell the flowers on the way to work and to take a photo of them

Great shot here; I like it when city councils (not sure what you call them in Canada) decorate the towns and roads with flowers, it makes an area look cared for.

I love driving or walking through town and see the beautiful flowers the town puts up..very nice shot.
yes tomorrow is the first day of summer. usually it falls on the 21st..my husband's birthday..mine is first day of spring.

So pretty. Years ago, my husband and I visited Eastern Canada--Ottowa and Quebec. One of the things that impressed us was the beautiful flowers everywhere. Looks like Edmonton is the same!
