One of the very nice neighborhoods to walk around in on any given evening is Old Glenora. So on our way home from Melody's parents we made a stop of to take in the fountain at Alexander Circle. This year they have added lights to the fountain which I think is a very nice addition.
It is named after Earl Alexander of Tunis who was the Governor General of Canada from 1946-1952.
It was quite unusual to find the spot empty as there is usually someone sitting on one of the benches or people strolling through the area
That looks like a really nice place to sit and visit. I love the sound of water from a fountain and I think you're right- the lighting in the fountain is a great addition. Very pretty! I hope the two of you took some time to sit and hold hands on this lovely evening and having that pretty fountain all to yourselves!
@olivetreeann Well we have to do that on another night as some friends actually pulled up while we were there and it was late so we just had a short visit and then made our way home
